Italo Beat je serija od 7 mikseva koje je u razdoblju od 1986. - 1988.
napravio nizozemski DJ i producent Lex van Coeverden. Inače Lex je
80-tih godina prošlog stoljeća bio DJ na tada piratskoj radio stanici
Radio Stad Den Haag (nešto slično kao Darko Ban na Radio Crash-u :-)).
Ploče je izdao također nizozemski label Taurus Records, podlabel Rams
Horn Records-a. Zanimljivost je da su sve ploče urezane samo na jednoj
strani, dok je druga poprilično neslušljiva. :)
