Radio Crash Zagreb Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Radio Crash Zagreb is a free radio streaming application developed and maintained by Darko Ban Švastović.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Radio Crash Zagreb applications for Android, iOS, and iPadOS.

Radio Crash Zagreb does not require registration or a user account. The applications do not display advertising and do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

By using the application, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Radio Crash Zagreb does not ask users to provide personal information such as their name, email address, phone number, Apple ID, Google account, or other account information in order to use the application or listen to the radio stream.

The applications do not use Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), Google’s Advertising ID, or similar advertising identifiers.

Certain technical information is processed when necessary to provide application functionality, as described below.

Song Reactions

The Radio Crash application includes an optional feature that allows users to react to songs currently being played.

When you use song reactions in the Radio Crash app, the app sends the selected reaction, current song information, app version, and an app-generated anonymous device identifier to the Radio Crash service.

The anonymous device identifier is randomly generated by the application and stored locally on the device. It is not an Apple or Google advertising identifier.

The Radio Crash service does not store the original device identifier. Instead, it stores a cryptographic HMAC/SHA-256 hash of the identifier.

Technical request information such as the IP address and user agent is also processed and stored only in hashed form.

These hashed values are used to:

  • prevent duplicate reactions;
  • limit abuse of the reaction system;
  • maintain reaction counts;
  • maintain historical reaction statistics and charts; and
  • support administration and operation of the reaction service.

Reaction records are retained as part of the Radio Crash reaction history because they are used for historical reaction statistics, charts, and administrative records.

This information is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics, or tracking users across applications or websites.

Radio Crash does not link the anonymous device identifier, its stored hash, or reaction information to your name, email address, phone number, Apple ID, Google account, or other real-world identity.

Radio Streaming and Network Communication

The primary function of Radio Crash Zagreb is to provide access to the official Radio Crash Zagreb live audio stream.

When the application connects to the Radio Crash stream, Radio Crash API, or another internet service required by the application, standard technical information such as an IP address may necessarily be processed as part of normal internet communication.

Radio Crash does not use this information to create advertising profiles or to track users across applications or websites.

The applications communicate with the Radio Crash service to provide functionality including:

  • live radio streaming;
  • currently playing song information;
  • song reactions;
  • recently played tracks and history;
  • music metadata; and
  • cover artwork.

Third-Party Services

Radio Crash Zagreb uses a limited number of external services and software components necessary to provide application functionality.

The applications may use the Apple iTunes Search API to retrieve music-related information such as album artwork.

The Android application uses Google Play functionality for features such as application updates and in-app review prompts.

The applications also use standard operating-system frameworks and software libraries for audio playback, networking, user interface functionality, media controls, and related application features.

Radio Crash Zagreb does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services such as:

  • Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics;
  • Firebase Crashlytics;
  • Google AdMob;
  • Sentry;
  • Bugsnag;
  • AppCenter;
  • Facebook SDK;
  • AppsFlyer;
  • Adjust;
  • Mixpanel; or
  • similar advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

External services may process standard technical information necessary to respond to network requests according to their own privacy policies.

Advertising and Tracking

Radio Crash Zagreb does not display advertising within the application.

The applications do not use Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), Google’s Advertising ID, or similar advertising identifiers.

Radio Crash Zagreb does not track users across third-party applications or websites.

Information processed by the application is not used for targeted advertising, advertising measurement, data brokerage, or the creation of advertising profiles.

Local Data

Certain information is stored locally on the user’s device to provide application functionality and remember application settings.

This may include:

  • application preferences;
  • playback-related settings; and
  • the anonymous application-generated device identifier used for song reactions.

This locally stored information is not used for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking.

Removing the application normally removes locally stored application data associated with the application from the device.

Log and Diagnostic Data

Radio Crash Zagreb does not integrate a dedicated third-party analytics or crash-reporting service.

The operating system, application distribution platform, network infrastructure, streaming server, or Radio Crash server infrastructure may nevertheless process or generate standard technical or diagnostic information as part of normal operation.

Depending on the service and circumstances, this may include information such as:

  • IP address;
  • device or operating system information;
  • application version;
  • timestamps;
  • network request information;
  • user agent; and
  • technical error or diagnostic information.

Where such information is available to Radio Crash, it is used only for technical, security, troubleshooting, abuse-prevention, and service-operation purposes.

As described above, technical request information associated with the Radio Crash song reaction system, such as IP address and user agent, is stored by the reaction service only in hashed form.

Data Sharing and Sale

Radio Crash Zagreb does not sell personal information.

Radio Crash Zagreb does not share user information with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party advertising services.

Information may be transmitted to external services only where necessary to provide requested application functionality, such as retrieving music artwork, providing platform functionality, or delivering the radio stream.

Data Retention

Radio Crash Zagreb does not maintain user accounts or personal user profiles.

Application preferences and the anonymous device identifier may remain locally on the device while the application is installed.

Reaction records are retained by the Radio Crash service as part of the historical reaction database because they are used to maintain reaction counts, historical statistics, charts, abuse prevention, and administrative records.

The original application-generated device identifier is not stored by the Radio Crash service. Only its cryptographic hash is stored with reaction records.

Technical request information used by the reaction system, including IP address and user agent, is also stored only in hashed form.

Data Deletion Requests

Because Radio Crash Zagreb does not require user accounts and does not associate reaction records with a user’s name, email address, Apple ID, Google account, or other real-world identity, Radio Crash generally cannot identify individual reaction records as belonging to a particular person.

If you have questions about information processed by Radio Crash Zagreb or believe that information relating to you has been collected, you may contact us using the email address below.

Where technically possible and applicable, requests concerning stored information will be reviewed and handled appropriately.

Cookies

The native Radio Crash Zagreb applications do not use cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.

If the application opens an external website or web-based service, that website or service may use cookies or similar technologies according to its own privacy policy.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect the Radio Crash infrastructure and information processed by the Service.

Where applicable, technical identifiers used by the Radio Crash reaction system are cryptographically hashed before being stored.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Links to Other Sites

The application may contain links to external websites or services.

If you follow a link to an external website or service, its own privacy practices and policies apply.

Radio Crash Zagreb is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Radio Crash Zagreb is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect directly identifying personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us so that the matter can be reviewed and appropriate action can be taken where necessary.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Radio Crash applications, application functionality, third-party services, technical infrastructure, or applicable privacy requirements.

Changes will be published on this page together with an updated revision date.
